Nick Diaz’s Sept. 6 Arrest Was His Second DUI Apprehension in 10 Months
Nick Diaz was arrested on Sept. 6 for driving under the influence in Lodi, Calif., but now a report claims that Diaz was also arrested for the same offense on Nov. 30, 2013.
A report from FoxSports.com disclosed that the former Strikeforce champion’s offenses for the Nov. 30 arrest are: driving under the influence, driving under the influence with an alcohol or drug level above .08 and unsafe speed for prevailing conditions.
The report alleges Diaz then no-showed court dates multiple times until ultimately showing in court on Aug. 21, 2014, after a bench warrant was issued for his arrest. The 31-year old was subsequently released on $25,000 bail, and a date for his arraignment was then scheduled for Sept. 25.
Earlier Friday, a report stated that Diaz was stopped at about 2 a.m. on Sept. 6 for a moving violation. After being approached by the officer, it was determined Diaz was allegedly under the influence of an alcoholic beverage.
