Junior dos Santos walked away from UFC on Fox 1 the big winner on Saturday, as the Brazilian took home both the UFC heavyweight title and the evening's largest payday.
Dos Santos raked $285,000 in total for his 64-second knockout over former champion Cain Velasquez, who earned $100,000 in defeat. In addition to a $110,000 win bonus, dos Santos also benefited from a $65,000 “Knockout of the Night” paycheck.

Ricardo Lamas was awarded a total of $85,000 for his victory over Cub Swanson, supplementing his $10,000 win bonus with a $65,000 reward for “Submission of the Night.”
UFC on Fox 1 marked the promotion's debut on network television.
Emanating from the Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif., the event
earned an average of 5.7 million viewers on Fox's flagship network,
peaking with 8.8 million viewers during the headlining heavyweight
title attraction.
