Nathan Cleverly, Tony Bellew to Fight Again in Liverpool in November

Nathan Cleverly and Tony Bellew will re-do their highly debated light heavyweight contest from 2011 in November. This time around the fight will take place at cruiserweight.

Matchroom Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn made the announcement Thursday. While the date is not set in stone yet, the sequel will either take place Nov. 22 or Nov. 29 at the Echo Arena in Liverpool, England.

"I'm so pleased to get this over the line and deliver another huge domestic grudge match for British boxing," Hearn said. "This fight has everything -- quality, controversy and a genuine rivalry that will lead to a fascinating buildup and a wonderful night at the Echo Arena."

After beating Bellew the first time, Cleverly (28-1, 14 KOs) went on to drop his title to Sergey Kovalev, which prompted his change in weight class where he has won two fights in a row.

"I cannot wait for this," Cleverly told ESPN. "I beat him in front of his people before and this time I'm going to knock him out in front of his people. There will be no final bell in this fight. It's going to be brutal. Expect fireworks from the build up, the press conferences, the weigh-in and the fight, but also expect the same result -- a Nathan Cleverly victory, and then I will become a two-weight world champion."

Bellew (22-2-1, 14 KOs) has had another world title shot since his initial bout with Cleverly, but was knocked out by Adonis Stevenson. Bellew has also won two fights in a row since moving up to cruiserweight.

"I want this more than any fight in the world," Bellew told ESPN. "I've dreamt about this moment, about putting this right, about ending him. His face will be in my mind every day in camp, every night. I can't explain how badly I want to knock him out and that's exactly how it will end in November. For the people of Liverpool, expect a great occasion, an epic buildup and an emotional fight."
