The Ultimate Fighting Championship’s debut in San Antonio will now feature a lightweight showdown between surging prospects Myles Jury and Abel Trujillo.

UFC officials Thursday announced the 155-pound pairing, which takes place June 28 at the AT&T Center and precedes a featherweight main event pitting Cub Swanson against Jeremy Stephens.

A two-time “Ultimate Fighter” alumnus, Jury, 25, has been perfect through 14 pro outings, five of which have come inside the Octagon. “Fury” last competed on March 15, when he consistently beat Diego Sanchez to the punch en route to a unanimous decision victory at UFC 171.

Trujillo, 30, has won back-to-back fights heading into his showdown with Jury, pocketing both “Knockout of the Night” and “Fight of the Night” honors for his February finish of Jamie Varner at UFC 169. “Killa” closed out 2013 with a decisive win over Roger Bowling, stopping the Strikeforce vet on second-round strikes in their Dec. 14 rematch.
