“Cro Cop” hinted at a move to Bellator by posting the promotion’s logo on his Facebook page Sunday night, and the California-based organization confirmed the signing in a release on Monday. Nelson defeated Filipovic via third-round technical knockout in their initial meeting at UFC 137 on Oct. 29, 2011.

Bellator 200 takes place at the SSE Arena and features a middleweight championship showdown between Rafael Carvalho and Gegard Mousasi. The main card airs on the Paramount Network via tape delay in the United States at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT.

The 43-year-old Filipovic has won eight consecutive fights since 2014, a streak that has taken place primarily in Japan. The former Pride Fighting Championships standout announced his retirement following a first-round technical knockout of Tsuyoshi Kosaka at Rizin’s New Year’s Eve Event, but those plans appear to have changed. “Cro Cop” has notably earned wins over Muhammed Lawal, Gabriel Gonzaga and Satoshi Ishii (twice) during his current winning streak.

Nelson, meanwhile, is coming off a majority decision defeat to Matt Mitrione in the opening round of Bellator’s heavyweight grand prix on Feb. 16. “Big Country” debuted with the promotion at Bellator 183, where he took a unanimous verdict against Javy Ayala.
