Matt Wiman will return to the cage for the first time since January 2013 when he squares off with Isaac Vallie-Flagg at UFC Fight Night in Austin.

The UFC announced the lightweight pairing on Wednesday. UFC Fight Night Austin takes place at the Frank Erwin Center on Nov. 22 and also features a flyweight clash between Joseph Benavidez and Dustin Ortiz. No headliner has been named for the event.

Wiman last appeared at UFC on Fox 6, where he was knocked out in the opening frame by T.J. Grant. Prior to that defeat, “Handsome” had won five of his last six inside the Octagon, including triumphs over Mac Danzig (twice) and Cole Miller.

Vallie-Flagg, meanwhile, enters the bout on a two-fight losing streak. Most recently, the 36-year-old Jackson-Wink MMA stalwart dropped a hard-fought unanimous verdict to Takanori Gomi at UFC 172. Vallie-Flagg owns notable triumphs over Yves Edwards and Gesias Cavalcante during his 20-fight pro career.
