Welterweights Matt Brown and Tarec Saffiedine will headline the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s Feb. 14 visit to Broomfield, Colo.

UFC President Dana White on Monday announced the bout during a press conference in Las Vegas. The 170-pound matchup will top a Fox Sports 1-broadcast UFC Fight Night card at Broomfield’s 1stBank Center which will also include a featherweight showdown between Max Holloway and Cole Miller.

Brown, 33, recently had a seven-fight winning streak snapped just one victory short of a UFC title shot. “The Immortal” dropped a five-round unanimous decision against Robbie Lawler in July, ending a run of vicious wins which included knockouts of Erick Silva, Mike Pyle, Jordan Mein and Mike Swick. Brown’s upcoming bout will mark his 19th appearance inside the Octagon and his third straight show as a headliner.

Like his opponent, 28-year-old Saffiedine will attempt to bounce back from a recent defeat. The Belgian “Sponge” was punched out by Rory MacDonald in their Oct. 4 encounter, snapping a five-fight streak for the former Strikeforce titleholder.
