Marloes Coenen, Curtis Millender Among Additions to Bellator 141 Undercard

Bellator MMA on Monday announced four new bouts for the preliminary portion of next month’s Bellator 141 fight card.

Former Strikeforce champion Marloes Coenen will make her sophomore Bellator appearance when she faces New Zealand’s Arlene Blencowe in a 145-pound matchup. An additional women’s featherweight bout will see Adrienna Jenkins take on Lissette Neri.

Coenen rebounded from a second loss to Cristiane Justino by submitting Annalisa Bucci in her Bellator debut last October. Blencowe was also successful in her first trip to the circular cage, punching out Jenkins inside the first round on May 15.

At welterweight, Curtis Millender will attempt to snap the first losing streak of his career when he takes on Californian “Stryker” Steven Ciaccio. Another 170-pound tilt features “Tattooed Terror” Johnny Cisneros trying for his first Bellator win against Brazilian import Gabriel Miglioli.

Headlined by a lightweight scrap between UFC veteran Melvin Guillard and Brandon Girtz, Bellator 141 takes place Aug. 28 at Pechanga Resort and Casino in Temecula, Calif. The undercard will stream live on Spike.com, with the main card airing live on Spike TV.
