Manuel Gaxhja Out of Bellator 196; Unbeaten, Demoted Adam Borics Now Awaits Third Opponent
Bellator’s 196's card continues to shuffle, as once-headliner Adam Borics now awaits his third opponent.
The search is on to find a new dance partner for the Hungarian featherweight as slated opponent Manuel Gaxhja has pulled out of their slated contest. MMAJunkie was first to report the bout change on Friday.

Borics, undefeated at 10-0, was originally scheduled to face fellow unbeaten James Gallagher in the headliner of Bellator 196, before a hand injury knocked Ireland’s Gallagher out of the contest just under two weeks ago.
The Hungarian featherweight was then slated to face the 20-year-old Albanian Gaxhja, while being demoted to the card’s co-feature, after the promotion added the Henderson-Huerta clash as its new main event. Now, Gaxhja has bowed out of the contest, leaving Borics temporarily in the lurch.
Borics made a succesful Bellator MMA debut at Bellator 177, also in his native Hungary, choking out Anthony Taylor in the first round last April.
