As usual, USADA will handle results management and adjudication of Lyman’s case. The welterweight is entitled to a full legal review process before receiving any punishment. The substance for which Good tested positive was not disclosed.
The Las Vegas-based promotion is currently seeking a replacement opponent for Muhammad. UFC 205 takes place on Nov. 12 at Madison Square Garden in New York and is headlined by a lightweight championship clash between Eddie Alvarez and Conor McGregor. Good vs. Muhammad was scheduled to take place on the preliminary portion of the card.
A former Bellator and Cage Fury Fighting Championships competitor, Good made his Octagon debut in July 2015, when he scored a second-round knockout victory over Andrew Craig at UFC Fight Night “Mir vs. Duffee.” The 31-year-old New York native owns a 19-3 career mark.
