The Ultimate Fighting Championship’s next trip to London will now feature a flyweight bout between Louis Gaudinot and Phil Harris.
UFC officials announced the booking Friday. The Las Vegas-based promotion’s upcoming U.K. visit takes place March 8 at the O2 Arena and is expected to serve as UFC Fight Night 37. The event is headlined by a light heavyweight clash between Alexander Gustafsson and Jimi Manuwa and will additionally see Ross Pearson collide with Melvin Guillard in a lightweight co-main event.
Gaudinot, 29, has come up short in two of his three Octagon outings since introducing himself to UFC fans as a cast member of “The Ultimate Fighter 14.” The New Yorker most recently competed this past August, falling via unanimous decision to Tim Elliott at UFC 164.
Like his opponent, Harris, 30, has also stumbled in two of his three UFC appearances, sandwiching a victory over Ulysses Gomez between stoppage losses to Darren Uyenoyama and John Lineker. A 34-fight pro, “Billy” has earned 13 of his 22 career wins via submission over a 10 years of competition.
