Lightweights Lando Vannata, Drakkar Klose to Clash at UFC 226

Lando Vannata and Drakkar Klose will square off at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on July 7 at UFC 226. Adam Hill of the Las Vegas Review-Journal was first to report the booking.

Vannata (9-2-1) has been out of action since October and is coming off a split draw against Bobby Green. Prior to that, he fell to David Teymur by decision at UFC 209. Klose (8-1-1) fought and lost to Teymur at UFC 218 last December in Detroit.

UFC 226 is headlined by a super fight pitting heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic against light heavyweight king Daniel Cormier. In the co-feature, featherweight titleholder Max Holloway will defend his belt against Brian Ortega.
