Lightweights Jon Tuck, Mehdi Baghdad to Meet at UFC Fight Night in Manila

A lightweight clash pitting Jon Tuck against Mehdi Baghdad has been added to the UFC Fight Night Manila lineup.

The Las Vegas-based promotion recently announced the pairing. UFC Fight Night takes place at Mall of Asia Arena in Manila, Philippines on Oct. 15 and is headlined by a featherweight duel between Ricardo Lamas and B.J. Penn. The card will stream in its entirety on UFC Fight Pass.

Tuck, 32, has alternated wins and losses in his six Octagon appearances. Most recently, “Super Saiyan” dropped a split decision to Josh Emmett at UFC Fight Night “Overeem vs. Arlovski” (live odds) on May 8.

Baghdad, meanwhile, is still looking for his first UFC triumph. The 31-year-old Frenchman suffered a first-round submission loss to Chris Wade in his debut at UFC Fight Night in Boston before dropping a split verdict against John Makdessi this past July.
