Legacy FC 40 Weigh-In Results: East, Ritani-Coe On Point For Heavyweight Clash

The Legacy Fighting Championship 40 main event between Cody East and Brice Ritani-Coe will go on as planned after both men successfully weighed in on Thursday.

Both heavyweights were under the 265- pound limit, as East checked in at 244 pounds, while Ritani-Coe tipped the scales at 253. LFC 40 takes place at Wild Bill’s in Duluth, Ga., and the evening’s main card will air live on AXS TV.

East was originally slated to face Joe Cason, but a knee injury forced Cason to withdraw from the bout.

In the evening’s co-main event, Tommy Jones (178) will face Bellator MMA veteran Dave Vitkay (175). In addition, Matt Betzold (129) -- who has one leg -- will make his promotional debut, when he fights Rodrigo Lima (132).
