Since losing to Andre Harrison last March, Lance Palmer has been nearly invincible.

Palmer tacked on another win Thursday night in the main event of the PFL 4 card at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseim in Long Island, New York, as he thoroughly thrashed Jumabieke Tuerxun before submitting him in the third frame.

Palmer out-struck the Chinese fighter nearly 75-1 and mauled him on the canvas.

With time running out in the final round, “The Party” slithered onto Tuerxun’s back and eventually locked in a neck crank. “The Wild Wolf” tired like crazy to break free, but he eventually succumbed to the submission, tapping out at the 4:34 mark. The win gave Palmer four points towards making the 2018 PFL Playoffs at featherweight; it’s his third consecutive win.

Featherweight contender Andre Harrison continued his dominance, as he controlled Nazareno Malegarie handily over the course of three rounds. “The Bull” out-struck his Argentinean counterpart on the feet and outclassed him on the ground as well, winning a lopsided unanimous decision with tallies of 30-27 across the board. The victory gave Harrison three points towards making the 2018 PFL Playoffs in the featherweight division and moving to 19-0 as a pro.

Brazil’s Francimar Barroso dispatched Jack May quickly when the heavyweight latched on a textbook arm triangle and forced the tap. Barroso ended things when May had no way to escape, forcing him to bow out at the 1:36 of the opening frame. “Bodao” earned six points in the 2018 heavyweight playoffs with the submission win.

Steven Siler made quick work of Brazil’s Alexandre Almeida when he scored a controversial technical submission just 34 seconds into their fight. Siler hurt his opponent with a short right hook to the jaw and then latched on a guillotine. Third man in the cage Dan Miragliotta intervened when he thought Almeida had been put to sleep and stopped it. Almeida immediately protested the ref’s call, but Miragliotta’s decision stood. The win earned Siler six points and clinched the No. 1 overall seed in the 2018 PFL featherweight playoffs.

In the opening bout of the telecast, heavyweight contender Philipe Lins took out Alex Nicholson via TKO in the second. After apparently getting poked in the eye during an exchange along the cage and failing at convincing Miragliotta that it happened, Lins turned the tides and rocked his foe with punches to the face. Nicholson crumbled to his knees and turtled up moments later, only to have the bout stopped at 3:39 of the frame when Miragliotta had pull the swarming Lins off. The finish earned Lins five points towards making the 2018 PFL Playoffs in the heavyweight division.

In other action, Kelvin Tiller submitted Jared Rosholt with a second-round guillotine at 0:54; Timur Valiev outpointed Bekbulat Magomedov via unanimous decision; Max Coga stopped Marcos Galvao with third-round punches at 2:19; Josh Copeland bested Shawn Jordan by unanimous decision; Valdrin Istrefi landed low kick after low kick on Daniel Gallemore until referee Dan Miragliotta had seen enough at 1:42 of the second stanza.
