Ultimate Fighting Championship lightweight Kyle Bochniak has been pretty vocal about the name he wants to fight next: Artem Lobov. The American called out “The Russian Hummer,” who politely accepted the challenge Thursday on Twitter.
Should the fighters’ plans materialize, the lightweight bout would take place at UFC Moscow on Sept. 15 at Olimpiysky Arena.
Bochniak is coming off a unanimous decision loss in a scrap which saw him and Zabit Magomedsharipov earn “Fight of the Night” honors at UFC 223.
Lobov also was scheduled to compete on the UFC 223 card, but he got involved in the “McGregor Massacre,” resulting in his duel with Alex Caceres being cancelled. Lobov is on a two-bout skid after losing to Cub Swanson and Andre Fili in consecutive contests.
