Knee Injury Forces Magomedov Out of UFC Fight Night Zagreb Bout vs. Gonzaga
Ruslan Magomedov has suffered a knee injury and has been forced to withdraw from a scheduled heavyweight clash against Gabriel Gonzaga at UFC Fight Night in Zagreb on April 10.

“Sorry to all my fans [and Gabriel Gonzaga],” Magomedov wrote. “I tried my best but had to pull out [because] I hurt my knee [and] can barely walk.”
Magomedov has won his first three Octagon appearances, taking unanimous verdicts over Shawn Jordan, Josh Copeland and Viktor Pesta. “Leopard” is 14-1 as a professional overall and owns noteworthy triumphs over Tim Sylvia and Ricco Rodriguez outside the UFC.
UFC Fight Night takes place at the Zagreb Arena in Zagreb Croatia and his headlined by a heavyweight tilt between Ben Rothwell and Junior dos Santos. The main card of the Las Vegas-based promotion’s first-ever event in Croatia will air on Fox Sports 1, with early preliminary bouts streaming on UFC Fight Pass.
