Kevin Lee vs. James Moontasri Added to UFC Fight Night in San Diego

Kevin Lee will lock horns with James Moontasri at UFC Fight Night "Mir vs. Duffee" on July 15.

The UFC recently announced the lightweight clash. The UFC Fight Night card takes place at the Valley View Casino Center in San Diego and is headlined by a heavyweight scrap between Frank Mir and Todd Duffee.

Lee enters the matchup on a three-fight winning streak. After losing to Al Iaquinta in his promotional debut, “The Motown Phenom” has bested Jesse Ronson, Jon Tuck and Michel Richard Cunha dos Prazeres in succession. Lee owns a 10-1 mark as a professional overall.

A three-time Resurrection Fighting Alliance veteran, Moontasri earned his first Octagon triumph on Feb. 14, as he submitted Cody Pfister in the second round at UFC Fight Night “Henderson vs. Thatch.” The Black House representative lost a split verdict to Joe Ellenberger in his UFC debut last June.
