The ultra-competitive Ultimate Fighting Championship 155-pound division will provide another exciting bout at UFC Milwaukee on Dec. 15 at the newly built Bradley Center when the fifth-ranked lightweight Kevin Lee squares off against the No. 9-ranked Al Iaquinta. The UFC released the poster of the event through its official Twitter.
The pair previously met back at UFC 169 in 2014 with Iaquinta winning by unanimous decision. Both fighters have improved exponentially since then, with the 26 year-old Lee boasting a record of 10-2 defeating top-10 opponents Edson Barboza and Michael Chiesa.
Iaquinta, 31, hasn’t been as active as Lee since that fight, going 5-2 and defeating the likes of Diego Sanchez and Jorge Masvidal before losing a short-notice lightweight championship bout against Khabib Nurmagomedov at the ill-fated UFC 223 in April.
UFC on Fox: Lee vs. Iaquinta 2 features another appealing lightweight fight in the co-main event between Barboza and New Zealand’s Dan Hooker, both of whom will be eager to impress and move up the divisional rankings.
