Kevin Aguilar KOs Damon Jackson in Brutal Fashion to Capture LFA Featherweight Title
Kevin Aguilar and Damon Jackson ignited a capacity crowd on Friday inside the Horseshoe Hotel and Casino in Bossier City, Louisiana, as they fought over the Legacy Fighting Alliance featherweight crown in the LFA 4 main event. Aguilar was the last man standing after a back-and-forth war (online sportsbooks).

The action spilled into a third frame. Entering the final minute of the round, Aguilar unfurled a neutron bomb of a right hand that knocked Jackson cold. He fell violently to his back, his left leg folding underneath him as his head bounced off the canvas. Aguilar than slammed a diving hammerfist into the face of his unconscious victim. The end came at 4:05 of Round 3 and brought with it the inaugural LFA featherweight championship.
The inaugural LFA women’s flyweight strap was up for grabs in the co-feature, where Andrea Lee dominated and outclassed Heather Bassett before submitting her with an armbar. Lee damaged the underdog with some terrific muay Thai in the first round and rocked her several times with punches to the head and body. Bassett grew more passive in Round 2 but managed to fend off a rear-naked choke. She was not as fortunate in the next frame.
Lee poured on the offense, moved to full mount at the midway point and slapped on an armbar to force the tapout. Bassett conceded defeat 3:40 into the third round.
In other action, Derrick Krantz dominated Hayward Charles for three rounds and took a lopsided unanimous decision in their welterweight showdown, earning 30-27 tallies across the board; Bryan Billiot submitted David Bosnick with a heel hook 57 seconds into the second round of their lightweight affair; Chauncey Foxworth beat on Nicholas Jackson for three rounds in their welterweight clash, recording a unanimous decision with 30-27 marks from all three judges; and Brandon Shavers was too much for Mike Murphy to handle, as he outpointed him 30-27 on all three scorecards in their lightweight scrap.
