Pettis called out “Formiga” on Instagram on Monday. The younger
brother of former lightweight champion Anthony

outing, as he suffered a unanimous decision loss to Olympic gold

“Congrats Jussier Formiga on your performance this past weekend,”
Pettis wrote. “But what’s good lets set this up.”
Da Silva authored one of the most impressive victories at UFC 221 in
Perth, Australia, on Saturday when he floored Nguyen with a
spinning back fist before locking in a rear-naked choke 1:43 into
the third round. The 32-year-old Brazilian, often a gatekeeper at
125 pounds, has won three of his last four in the Octagon and is
looking for a crack at reigning champ Demetrious
“I feel great and right now, I want to get my belt,” da Silva said.
“I have six years in the UFC and I deserve my shot.”
