After more than one year of inactivity, Josh Koscheck will return to the Octagon against Jake Ellenberger at UFC 184.

The welterweight pairing was announced by Ultimate Fighting Championship via the L.A. Daily News on Tuesday. The pay-per-view event, which takes place at Staples Center in Los Angeles on Feb. 28, features two title fights, with Chris Weidman defending his 185-pound crown against Vitor Belfort and Ronda Rousey looking to remain unbeaten against Cat Zingano.

Koscheck was last seen in action against Tyron Woodley at UFC 167, where he suffered a second consecutive knockout loss that stretched his current losing streak to three. A cast member on the inaugural season of “The Ultimate Fighter,” the 37-year-old has competed 23 times under the UFC banner, amassing a record of 15-8.

It was rumored that “Kos” was slated to face Neil Magny in February, but Ellenberger will fill the spot. He too will be looking to end a three-fight skid, most recently being submitted by Kelvin Gastelum at UFC 180 in Mexico City. “The Juggernaut” is widely regarded as one of the heaviest hitters in the division, tallying 18 of his 29 career wins by knockout.
