As a result, a welterweight clash between Paul Daley and Andy Uhrich will serve as the evening’s new main event, while the Chris Honeycutt-Paul Bradley rematch has been promoted to co-feature. A Bellator official informed Sherdog.com of the news on Tuesday evening; details regarding Koscheck’s injury were not disclosed. Secor is not expected to remain on the card.

Bellator 148 takes place on Jan. 29 at the Save Mart Center in Fresno, Calif., and airs on Spike TV beginning at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT. It is believed that Koscheck and Daley were strategically placed on the same card in order to build toward an eventual rematch of their infamous UFC 113 battle. For now, it is unclear when Koscheck will make his Bellator debut.

Koscheck signed with Bellator MMA last year after a lengthy stint with the UFC. The 38-year-old exited the Las Vegas-based promotion on the heels of a five-fight losing streak. “Kos” owns notable victories over the likes of Matt Hughes, Anthony Johnson, Diego Sanchez, Chris Lytle and Daley, to name a few.
