Jonathan Wilson will make his Octagon debut on short notice, as he replaces the injured Gian Villante against Corey Anderson at UFC 181.

The promotion announced the revised matchup on Tuesday. UFC 181 takes place at Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas on Dec. 6 and is headlined by a welterweight title tilt between Johny Hendricks and Robbie Lawler. In the co-main event, Anthony Pettis defends his lightweight strap against Gilbert Melendez.

A native of San Bernardino, Calif., Wilson is unbeaten in six professional appearances, with all but one victory coming by way of knockout or technical knockout. “Johnny Bravo” has gone 4-0 in 2014 while competing exclusively for the Gladiator Challenge promotion.

Anderson’s first promotional foray was a success, as he stopped Matt Van Buren in 61 seconds to win “The Ultimate Fighter 19” light heavyweight crown this past July. “Beastin 25/8” is 4-0 as a professional, with three triumphs via knockout or technical knockout.
