In addition to Eduardo-Lopez, the Las Vegas-based promotion also announced a middleweight clash between Eric Spicely and Antonio Carlos Jr. and a flyweight tilt pitting Deiveson Alcantara Figueiredo against Marco Beltran. UFC 212 takes place at HSBC Arena in Rio de Janeiro on June 3 and is headlined by a featherweight championship bout between Jose Aldo and Max Holloway.

Eduardo has won three of his last four bouts, including a second-round technical knockout victory over Manny Gamburyan at UFC Fight Night 100 on Nov. 19. Lopez, meanwhile, picked up his first promotional triumph at UFC 206 when he took a unanimous decision over Mitch Gagnon.

After losing his UFC debut, Spicely has scored back-to-back submission victories over Thiago Santos and Alessio Di Chirico. Carlos Jr. also enters the matchup on a two-fight winning streak, with victories over Marvin Vettori and Leonardo Guimaraes.

Alcantara will make his Octagon debut with an 11-0 record that includes 10 wins via knockout, technical knockout or submission. Beltran began his promotional tenure with three straight victories but is coming off a first-round submission loss to Joe Soto at UFC Fight Night 98.
