John Castaneda Issues ‘Hopeful Callout’ to Adrian Yanez After UFC 295 Victory
John Castaneda showed nothing but respect for Adrian Yanez while calling him out in his UFC 295 post-fight interview.

“I’m not gonna call people out but if I were to call somebody out, I really really would love a fight with Adrian Yanez,” Castaneda said during a post-fight media session. “Not because it’s like a disrespect thing, but stylistically I think we can put on a banger. Absolutely… A little hopeful callout.”
Castaneda improved his Ultimate Fighting Championship record to 4-2 with his victory over Kang, who saw a two-fight win streak snapped. Castaneda’s only two UFC losses have come against Daniel Santos and Nathaniel Wood.
Meanwhile, Yanez showed all the promise of a future contender by going undefeated in his first five UFC outings. However, the 29-year-old has since suffered consecutive stoppage losses against veteran contender Rob Font and surging prospect Jonathan Martinez.
