Jim Wallhead vs. Warlley Alves Booked for UFC Fight Night 118 in Poland

Jim Wallhead will lock horns with Warlley Alves in a welterweight duel at UFC Fight Night 118 in Poland on Oct. 21.

Promotion officials announced the pairing Thursday. UFC Fight Night 118 takes place at Ergo Arena in Gdansk, Poland, and is headlined by a 170-pound matchup pitting Donald Cerrone against Darren Till. The card will stream in its entirety on UFC Fight Pass.

Wallhead is looking for his first Octagon triumph after falling to Luan Chagas and Jessin Ayari in his initial two promotional outings. The 39-year-old Englishman is 29-11 as a professional, with 11 wins via KO/TKO and 10 by submission.

Alves began his UFC tenure with four straight victories but has since dropped back-to-back decisions to Kamaru Usman and Bryan Barberena. The 26-year-old Brazilian is 10-2 over the course of his career, including seven wins inside the distance.
