A pair of injuries has altered the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s November lineup.

Erik Perez, who was scheduled to face Marcus Brimage at UFC 180, and Patrick Williams, who was booked against Jumabieke Tuerxun at UFC Fight Night “Rockhold vs. Bisping,” have both been forced to withdraw from their bouts. As a result, Brimage and Tuerxun will square off in Sydney on Nov. 8.

The loss of Perez, a native of Monterrey, Mexico, is perhaps the most significant, as UFC 180 marks the promotion’s first-ever trip South of the Border. Williams, meanwhile, was set to make his sophomore Octagon appearance after suffering a second-round knockout loss to Chris Beal at UFC 172.

An cast member of “The Ultimate Fighter 14,” Brimage is 3-2 in the Las Vegas-based promotion. After beginning his tenure with three straight triumphs, “The Bama Beast” has fallen to Conor McGregor and Russell Doane in his last two outings.

Tuerxun entered the UFC unbeaten in 14 professional bouts, but “The Wild Wolf” has fallen to Mark Eddiva and Leandro Issa in his first two Octagon appearances.
