FRISCO, Texas -- It took less than two minutes for the former World Extreme Cagefighting lightweight contender Marcus Hicks to submit UFC and Pride Fighting Championships veteran Anthony Macias in the Supreme Warrior Championship 10 main event on Saturday at the Frisco Convention Center.

Hicks indicated that he plans on fighting often in 2010. There are rumors of a bout between the WEC veteran and Mikel Bronzoulis, who defeated “The Ultimate Fighter” Season 11 hopeful Cleburn Walker in November.
In the co-main event, Johnny Bedford, of Fort Worth, Texas, took on Jackson’s Mixed Martial Arts prospect Ryan Webb. Despite lacking Bedford’s experience Webb made it a competitive fight.
Bedford unleashed several head kicks, took down Webb and dropped forearms on his grounded foe. Webb shook off the punishment and held his own in the featherweight showdown. Still, Webb found himself in a number of bad positions, as Bedford took back control and mounted him several times. Finally, in the third round, Webb could withstand no more. Bedford grabbed Webb’s arm, cranked a kimura and forced the tapout 2:14 into round three.
