A flyweight showdown between Henry Cejudo and Elias Garcia that was originally intended to take place last month will now be contested Jan. 31 at LFC 27.

Legacy Fighting Championship promoter Mick Maynard announced the booking on Tuesday. LFC 27 takes place at Houston’s Arena Theatre and will be headlined by a welterweight showdown between Tim Means and Artenas Young. The evening’s main draw airs live on AXS TV.

A 2008 Olympic wrestling gold medalist, Cejudo began his MMA career this past March and rattled off five straight victories in 2013. Cejudo, who has stopped four of his victims by either knockout or submission, was initially expected to meet Garcia at LFC 25, but “Smash” was forced to withdraw due to injury. The 26-year-old was then paired with Saul Elizondo but pulled out of the matchup on short notice after contracting a stomach flu.

Like Cejudo, Garcia has also been perfect as a professional, notching four consecutive wins to begin his career. The 27-year-old last competed on May 31, when he took a majority decision from Matt Schnell at LFC 20.
