Olympic wrestling gold medalist Henry Cejudo will make his Ultimate Fighting Championship debut on home soil when he faces Dustin Kimura on Dec. 13.

UFC officials Monday announced that Cejudo and Kimura will meet in a bantamweight bout at UFC Fight Night “Dos Santos vs. Miocic,” which takes place at US Airways Center in Cejudo’s home base of Phoenix. The Fox-broadcast card will be topped by a heavyweight tilt between former champion Junior dos Santos and Stipe Miocic.

Cejudo, 27, was slated to make his Octagon debut in August at UFC 177 but was forced to back out of his bout with Scott Jorgensen on the day of weigh-ins due to unspecified medical reasons. The unbeaten wrestler moves up to 135 pounds after failing to meet the 125-pound flyweight limit in his previous two bouts for Legacy Fighting Championships.

Kimura, 25, has alternated wins and losses in his four UFC appearances. The Hawaiian ground specialist owns submission wins against Chico Camus and Jon delos Reyes, but has suffered losses to Mitch Gagnon and, most recently, George Roop.
