The winner of Season 17 of “The Ultimate Fighter,” Gastelum has alternated wins and losses in his last four outings. Most recently, the Yuma, Ariz., native outpointed former welterweight king Johny Hendricks at UFC 200 on July 9.
Masvidal ended a two-fight skid in his last outing, as he captured a unanimous decision against Ross Pearson at UFC 201. “Gamebred” is 7-4 with the Las Vegas-based promotion overall.
Sanchez suffered the first true KO/TKO loss of his career at UFC 200, falling to Joe Lauzon 1:26 into the opening round of their lightweight encounter. The “TUF 1” winner has won just three of his eight UFC bouts since 2012, and that includes controversial triumphs over Takanori Gomi and Pearson.
A former Bellator MMA 155-pound title challenger, Held is one of the promotion’s newest signings. The Polish submission specialist went 11-2 in Bellator and is 22-4 as a pro overall. Twelve of his victories have come by way of tapout.
