Nine fights are now official for Bellator 55, as a lightweight contest between Steve Gable and Ricardo Tirloni was added to the main draw by promotion officials Thursday.

Only beaten once through three years as a pro, Gable rides back-to-back wins heading into his Bellator debut. A two-time veteran of EliteXC competition, Gable most recently earned a pair of submission victories in Galaxy MMA last year and has not yet competed in 2011.

Tirloni has also tasted defeat only once in his pro career, though the Brazilian’s winning streak is considerably greater than his foe’s. Tirloni's last loss came in 2008, when he was submitted by former WEC champion Ben Henderson. Since that defeat, the 28-year-old has won 10 consecutive fights, most recently knocking out Mauro Chalet with a head kick on July 9.

Additionally, five undercard attractions have been greenlit for the Oct. 22 event, which emanates from the Cocopah Resort and Casino in Yuma, Ariz. The preliminary bouts will stream live on Spike.com immediately preceding the main draw broadcasts on MTV2 and EPIX in standard and high definition, respectively.

Featuring both welterweight tournament semifinals and a non-title light heavyweight bout between champion Christian M'Pumbu and Travis Wiuff, the event marks the Chicago-based promotion's second outdoor event held in Yuma and its first trip to the city in Season 5.

Highlighting the undercard will be a light heavyweight tournament qualifier between Richard Hale and Carlos Flores. The prelims are set to showcase a pair of middleweight scraps, as Jacob Ortiz will meet Edgar Garcia and Steve Steinbeiss will battle Dano Moore.

Additionally, Nick Piedmont will lock horns with Jade Porter at featherweight, and Erin Beach will take on Roscoe Jackson in a 155-pound showdown.
