Frank Camacho will replace the injured Christos Giagos and face Alan Patrick Silva Alves at UFC Fight Night 173.

Camacho has lost three of his last four Octagon appearances. Most recently, the 30-year-old Team Oyama representative suffered a first-round submission loss to Beneil Dariush at UFC Fight Night 162 this past October. Camacho is 2-4 in the UFC and 22-8 as a professional overall.
Alves had a three-bout winning streak halted in his most recent outing at UFC 229, where he was knocked out in the opening stanza by Scott Holtzman. The 36-year-old Brazilian is 5-2 during his promotional tenure and 15-2 over the course of his pro career.
