Four UFC 140 preliminary bouts will air on the Ion Television network, the promotion announced Monday.
A light heavyweight clash between Krzysztof Soszynski (Pictured) and Igor Pokrajac; a middleweight bout between Jared Hamman and Constantinos Philippou; a lightweight scrap featuring John Makdessi and Dennis Hallman and a bantamweight fight pitting Yves Jabouin against Walel Watson will all be televised on Ion beginning at 7 p.m. ET.
The card's first three prelims -- John Cholish vs. Mitch Clarke, Rich Attonito vs. Jake Hecht, and Mark Bocek vs. Nik Lentz -- will stream live on Facebook beginning at 3:50 p.m. ET.
“We are excited to give UFC fans four great fights live and free on ION Television this Saturday,” UFC president Dana White said in a release. “We always try to give fans free fights on TV and this is just another example.” For more information on the Ion channel in your area, visit www.iontelevision.com.
Going down from the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, UFC 140 is highlighted by a light heavyweight title clash between Jon Jones and Lyoto Machida. The card also features a rematch of a 2008 heavyweight showdown between Frank Mir and Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira, as well as Tito Ortiz versus Antonio Rogerio Nogueira in a light heavyweight affair.
