After a 2-2 stint with Bellator which included losses to Joe Warren and Patricio Freire, “Insane” went on a nine-fight tear through promotions such as Legacy Fighting Championship, Dream and WSOF.
Karakhanyan defeated Lance Palmer at WSOF 7 to claim the promotion’s 145-pound title, but he dropped the belt in a disappointing loss to Rick Glenn at WSOF 10. The Millenia MMA representative was forced to quit after two rounds against Glenn following an injury involving a cracked rib.
