Three new fights have been added to One Fighting Championship’s December offering, including a lightweight showdown between Eduard Folayang and Vincent Latoel.
Titled “Moment of Truth,” One FC 13 takes place Dec. 6 at Mall of Asia Arena in Manila, Philippines, and will also see bantamweight Leandro Issa do battle with Koetsu Okazaki. Additionally, undefeated 135-pounder Dae Hwan Kim will lock horns with Australian talent Thanh Vu.
One FC 13 is headlined by a featherweight title rematch between Koji Oishi and Honorio Banario and streams on onefc.livesport.tv. Immediately prior to the live stream, Sherdog.com will air a free video preview of the event.
Folayang, 28, began his career with 11 victories in his first 12 outings but has since lost three of his last four bouts. The reigning URCC welterweight champion closed out 2012 with a non-title loss to the undefeated Lowen Tynanes and then dropped a unanimous decision to UFC veteran Kamal Shalorus this past May at One FC 9.
Latoel has won just three of his last 10 fights but was successful in his One FC debut, submitting Willy Ni with a first-round guillotine choke eight weeks ago at One FC 10. Representing the Golden Glory stable, Latoel is a veteran of 29 pro outings and has stopped 12 of his 14 victims in nearly 12 years of competition.
