Flyweights Tim Elliott, Justin Scoggins Booked for UFC on Fox 26 in Winnipeg

A flyweight clash pitting Tim Elliott against Justin Scoggins has been added to the UFC on Fox 26 lineup.

Promotion officials announced the pairing on Thursday. UFC on Fox 26 takes place at Bell MTS Place in Winnipeg on Dec. 16 and will also feature a light heavyweight duel between Antonio Rogerio Nogueira and Jared Cannonier. A headliner for the event has not been revealed.

Elliott, a former 125-pound title challenger, is coming off a 49-second submission defeat to Ben Nguyen at UFC Fight Night 110 on June 10. The 30-year-old Missouri native is 3-6 over the course of two separate Octagon tenures.

Scoggins, meanwhile, has suffered back-to-back submission losses to Yuta Sasaki and Pedro Munhoz in his last two outings. “Tank” is 4-4 during his promotional tenure and owns a notable win over current flyweight No. 1 contender Ray Borg.
