Multiple outlets confirmed the news on Friday following an initial report from Brazilian site Combate. “Mighty Mouse” was supposed to defend his 125-pound title against Wilson Reis. According to the report, the bout has been postponed to a later date. The nature of Johnson’s injury was not disclosed, and the UFC has yet to make an announcement regarding Johnson’s status.

UFC 201 takes place at Philips Arena in Atlanta and is headlined by a welterweight championship tilt pitting Robbie Lawler against Tyron Woodley. The card, which airs on pay-per-view, also includes a 170-pound clash between Matt Brown and Jake Ellenberger.

Johnson, the only flyweight champion the Las Vegas-based promotion has ever known, has defended his title eight straight times. Most recently, he earned a first-round technical knockout against Olympic gold medalist Henry Cejudo at UFC 197 on April 23.

The 31-year-old Reis has won three of his last four Octagon appearances. In his most recent outing the Brazilian outpointed Dustin Ortiz at UFC on Fox 18 on Jan. 30.
