Floyd Mayweather, Andre Berto Both On Weight
The MGM Grand Garden Arena wasn’t quite as raucous -- or filled -- as all of his previous major weigh-ins, but the world’s best pound-for-pound fighter didn’t seem to care or notice. Floyd Mayweather Jr. was all business as he weighed in for tomorrow’s showdown with Andre Berto and both men easily made the welterweight limit.

The co-main event scrap on the Showtime pay-per-view attraction is the WBO junior lightweight championship rematch between titlist Roman Martinez and Orlando Salido. Trying to get his title back, Salido was as focused as ever and made the division’s limit right on the money; he came in at 130 pounds. Martinez, the defending champion, was equally as fit as he clocked in at 129.5 pounds.
WBC super middleweight monarch Badou Jack is set to defend his strap as well and like a true champion, he easily made weight. Jack tipped the scale at 167.5 pounds while challenger George Groves came in right on the money at 168.
The telecast will begin at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT and it will begin with an intriguing junior lightweight encounter between Jonathan Oquendo and Jhonny Gonzalez. Both combatants weighed in at 129 pounds.
