Erik Perez, Felipe Arantes to Clash at UFC Fight Night in Mexico City

Erik Perez will square off against Felipe Arantes at UFC Fight Night in Mexico City.

Promotion officials recently announced the bantamweight bout. UFC Fight Night takes place at Mexico City Arena and is headlined by a pivotal lightweight encounter between Rafael dos Anjos and Tony Ferguson. The evening’s main card will be televised on Fox Sports 1.

Perez, 26, has won three of his last four in the Octagon. Most recently, “El Goyito” captured a unanimous verdict over Francisco Rivera at UFC 201. The Monterrey, Mexico, native is 6-2 during his tenure with the Las Vegas-based promotion.

Arantes has also won three of his last four UFC outings, including back-to-back triumphs over Jerrod Sanders and Yves Jabouin. The Sao Paulo native is 5-3-1 in the Octagon since making his debut in August 2011.
