English Prospect Arnold Allen to Make Short-Notice UFC Debut Against Alan Omer in Berlin
British featherweight Mike Wilkinson has been forced to withdraw from this weekend’s Ultimate Fighting Championship event in Germany, making way for countryman Arnold Allen’s short-notice Octagon debut.
UFC officials Monday announced that Wilkinson pulled out of his bout with Alan Omer due to injury. Wilkinson suffered a dislocated shoulder in training last Friday, according to a post on his Twitter account.

Allen holds a record of 9-1 with seven finishes after three years as a professional. The 21-year-old made a name for himself in England’s Cage Warriors Fighting Championship but last competed under the Made 4 the Cage banner in November, when he picked up a second-round stoppage of Paul Cook.
Omer will look to rebound from a loss in his UFC debut, which came against another CWFC veteran, Jim Alers, over one year ago. Omer, who saw a four-fight winning streak snapped with the defeat, was scheduled to face Mirsad Bektic in January but was forced to withdraw from the bout only weeks before.
