A pair of “Ultimate Fighter” winners will lock horns when Eddie Gordon meets Antonio Carlos Jr. at UFC Fight Night “Machida vs. Romero” on June 27.

Promotion officials announced the middleweight pairing on Tuesday. The UFC Fight Night bill takes place at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and is headlined by a 185-pound showdown pitting Lyoto Machida against Yoel Romero.

Gordon has lost two straight bouts since scoring a 71-second knockout of Dhiego Lima at the “TUF 19” finale. The Serra-Longo Fight Team member suffered a head-kick KO defeat against Josh Samman at UFC 181 in December before falling to Chris Dempsey via split decision at UFC on Fox 15 on April 18. Gordon owns a 7-3 professional mark overall.

Carlos Jr., who won the heavyweight final of “TUF: Brazil 3,” will be making his first middleweight appearance inside the Octagon. After vanquishing Vitor Miranda at the reality show’s finale in May 2014, “Cara de Sapato” moved to 205 pounds for his next outing at UFC Fight Night “Machida vs. Dollaway,” where he dropped a unanimous verdict against Patrick Cummins. Carlos is 4-1 since turning pro in 2013.
