Roufus confirmed the pairing via Instagram on Tuesday. UFC officials have yet to announce the matchup. UFC Fight Night 120 takes place at Ted Constant Convocation Center in Norfolk, Va., on Nov. 11. The card will be televised on Fox Sports 1 following early prelims on UFC Fight Pass.

Pettis, the former lightweight champion, returned to the division earlier this year following a two-bout stint at 145 pounds. “Showtime” was able to win for the second time in three outings at UFC 213, as he captured over unanimous verdict over veteran performer Jim Miller on July 8.

Poirier, meanwhile, is coming off an entertaining clash against Eddie Alvarez at UFC 211 that ended in a no contest when Alvarez landed a series of illegal knees in the second round. Prior to that, “The Diamond” had been victorious in five of his last six Octagon appearances.
