Darrion Caldwell-Noad Lahat Non-Title Bout to Headline Bellator 204 in Sioux Falls, S.D.



A featherweight, non-title bout pitting Darrion Caldwell against Noad Lahat will headline Bellator 204, as the promotion makes its first visit to Sioux Falls, S.D., on Aug. 17.

The California-based organization recently announced the event. Bellator 204 takes place at the Sanford Pentagon and will see prospect Logan Storley square off against A.J. Matthews in the welterweight co-main event. The main card will be broadcast on Paramount Network beginning at 9 p.m. ET/ 8 p.m. CT, with prelims streaming immediately prior on Bellator.com and the Bellator Mobile App.

Caldwell, the reigning Bellator bantamweight champion, began his MMA career at 145 pounds with six consecutive triumphs. In 2015, “The Wolf” moved to 135 pounds, where he has been victorious in six of seven bouts, capturing Bellator gold with a five-round verdict against Eduardo Dantas in the process. Most recently, the Alliance MMA product defended his crown with a first-round submission of Leandro Higo at Bellator 195.

A four-time UFC veteran, Lahat has won three of four bouts since signing with Bellator. Most recently, the Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt from Xtreme Couture outpointed Jeremiah Labiano at Bellator 188 on Nov. 16. The 34-year-old is 12-3 as a professional, with eight wins coming inside the distance.

The 25-year-old Storley has kicked off his professional tenure with eight consecutive triumphs, including three under the Bellator MMA banner. Matthews, 30, halted a four-bout skid with a split-decision triumph against Kendall Grove in his most recent outing at Bellator 193.
