Daniel Cormier won’t get his desired rematch with Jon Jones, but he apparently will stay on the UFC 200 card.

UFC President Dana White revealed on “The Herd” Thursday that the promotion is in the process of finding a new opponent for Cormier on Saturday’s card, which takes place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

“There’s tons of guys that are interested. So we’ll get a fight done,” White said.

“Cormier will fight this weekend.”

White said that the new matchup will be revealed “hopefully later today.” However, he did eliminate one fighter who volunteered his services after it was announced Jones was removed from UFC 200 to due a possible anti-doping violation.

“First of all, [Michael Bisping] just won the 185 pound title. Let me tell you what Bisping does in his offseason," White said. "When Bisping’s not training, he goes on a bender. He’s in no condition to fight Cormier.”

Another fighter who has been lobbying for the shot at Cormier’s belt is Gegard Mousasi, who is currently scheduled to face Thiago Santos at middleweight in a preliminary contest.

I was the last [light heavyweight] Strikeforce champion,” Mousasi wrote on Twitter. “I will be the next [light heavyweight] UFC champion if given this fight.”

Cormier’s fight will no longer be the headliner, as Brock Lesnar vs. Mark Hunt has been moved to the top of the card. However, the 205-pound champ will receive the same payday he would have earned for facing Jones, White said. Regardless of who gets paired with Cormier, White said the organization is moving on from the initial disappointment of losing its headliner.

"You gotta bounce back. We’ve got a great card this weekend,” White said. “You’ve got to move on, you gotta roll. I was definitely bummed out. I was blown away in disbelief. I obviously felt really, really bad for Daniel Cormier.”
