Whether it is her intention or not, Cristiane Justino is doing her best to lay the groundwork for a potential showdown with UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey.
In a lengthy post on her Facebook page, “Cyborg,” presumably responding to Rousey’s interview on ”The Howard Stern Show” saying that Justino is “just ‘roids, muscle and no technique,” rips her rival in just about every way possible.

“You can tell she isn't happy with life,” Justino wrote. “She is world champion in the UFC and has the same grumpy face no matter what picture you see of her.
“In almost every interview she gives she's talking bad about people
[whether] it is me, Miesha Tate,
the ring card girls or an ex-boyfriend, and the only time she ever
says anything good about someone is when she is talking about
herself,” she continued. “I'm sure even she doesn't really believe
she's got the best ass in MMA.”
Justino also questions how many people truly like the reigning bantamweight queen, and she mocks the Twitter congratulations Rousey recently received from her peers for appearing on the cover of Sports Illustrated.
“This is a girl with very few genuine friends, I mean, the UFC practically had to beg fighters to congratulate her on Twitter for making the cover of Sports Illustrated,” Cyborg wrote.
Finally, the Brazilian said that she believes Rousey is unwilling to face her at a 140-pound catch-weight because the Californian’s whole identity is based upon her lofty stature in the sport.
“There is a reason why she is saying she will only fight me at 135 [pounds] despite telling anyone who will listen that she would beat Cain Velasquez, fight Laila Ali, or whatever other nonsense she will come up with in her next interview,” she wrote. “And that's because when she loses to me she will lose her whole identity. When the cameras aren't around and everyone has gone home, I think she's just a really lonely, unhappy soul, and that's a sad way to live your life.”
Justino is expected to fight for Invicta FC against an opponent to be named in July. That bout will be at featherweight, but “Cyborg” is expected to make the cut to 135 pounds for another Invicta bout in late 2015. Dana White has said that her chances of getting a matchup with Rousey in the UFC are contingent upon her ability to make the bantamweight limit in the all-female promotion.
Rousey, meanwhile, is scheduled to defend her belt against Bethe Correia at UFC 190 in Rio de Janeiro on Aug. 1.
