Corey Anderson has replaced the injured Tom Lawlor and will face Fabio Maldonado in a light heavyweight contest at UFC Fight Night in Sao Paulo on Nov. 7.

The promotion’s Brazilian branch announced the change on Tuesday. The exact nature of Lawlor’s injury was not specified. The 77th UFC Fight Night card takes place at Geraldo Jose de Almeida State Gymnasium and is headlined by the third meeting between Vitor Belfort and Dan Henderson.

The winner of “The Ultimate Fighter 19,” Anderson has been victorious in three of four promotional outings, with his only loss coming to Gian Villante at UFC on Fox 15. Most recently, “Beastin’ 25/8” garnered a unanimous verdict over Jan Blachowicz at UFC 191 on Sept. 5.

Maldonado, meanwhile, has lost two of his last three appearances, including a unanimous decision defeat against Quinton Jackson in his most recent outing at UFC 186. The former professional boxer is 5-5 during his Octagon tenure.
