Sherdog's live Conor McGregor vs. Floyd Mayweather play-by-play and round-by-round scoring kicks off Saturday, Aug. 26 at 9 p.m. ET.

Andrew Tabiti vs. Steve Cunningham

Round 1

Jay Nady is the referee for this cruiserweight affair, which is four a pair of regional titles. Tabiti comes out of his corner tentative in a crouch, pawing his his left jab. The taller Cunningham is cautious as well as they feel each other out. Tabiti changes course and backs away, waiting for “USS” to open up so he can counter. Tabiti lands a sweeping right cross on the head, but Cunningham immediately returns the favor with a right of his own. The round ends with very little action happening. 10-9 Tabiti

Round 2

Tabiti is much ore active early on in the frame behind his jab. The Las Vegan digs a right to the body, but Cunningham counters with a right cross across the forehead. A slick combo the head and body from Tabiti, who punctuates it with a beautiful right uppercut through the guard. Cunningham tosses out a few jabs but he remains relatively coy. “USS” finally opens up with a volley of punches just before the bell but the all miss their target. 10-9 Tabiti

Round 3

Tabiti lands a few jabs early and then has to cover up from a multi-punch flurry from Cunningham; he blocks them all. a triple jab, followed by a right hook to the body from Tabiti, who has taken over control of the fight. Cunningham continues to stalk Tabiti back and around the ring, but nothing from his arsenal is landing. The cruisers exchange punches against the ropes, but only a sweeping left hook from Cunningham connects, albeit barely. 10-9 Tabiti

Round 4

A double jab snaps Cunningham’s head back as soon as the stanza begins. Cunningham traps the younger fighter in a corner, but he whiffs badly on a telegraphed left hook. Cunningham is growing a bit frustrated at the midway point and presses Tabiti into the ropes, his forearm in the Chicago native’s throat. After trading jabs, Cunningham gets inside with a moderate flurry to the head and body. Tabiti ties him up and then digs a few shots downstairs at the end of a very close round. 10-9 Cunningham

Round 5

Tabiti opens the round with a stiff jab to the mouth, but doesn’t follow it up with anything. After swallowing a few more jabs, Cunningham answers with a straight right to the forehead. Tabiti shakes it off an responds with a decent right hook before being tied up. Tabiti’s movement allows him to avoid nearly everything Cunningham throws at him late. Tabiti snaps out a few more jabs to the head, nullifying the taller man’s charges. 10-9 Tabiti

Round 6

Cunningham misses two overhand rights to the head, a punch he continues to telegraph and miss by several inches. Tabiti is playing it safe, still, pecking away with the jab and moving to his right. “USS” backs the younger man into the ropes behind a double jab and straight right. Tabiti ties him up and then resets in the center of the ring. Cunningham digs a hard right hook to the body, but he's countered by a crisp straight right to the noggin. Andrew triples up the jab to the body and then to the head as Cunningham become a statues for a few seconds late. 10-9 Tabiti

Round 7

Tabiti tags his opponent with a few shots to the head and body, but Cunningham charges after him with a flurry of punches. Tabiti backs away and covers up, nullifying the attack. A nice jab and then right hook to the body from Tabiti at the midway point. Cunningham seems a little desperate now, as he’s letting his hands go more than ever. Tabiti, though, is keeping him away behind that left jab to the face repeatedly. 10-9 Tabiti

Round 8

Tabiti continues to play it safe by pawing with the jab and landing to the body when Cunningham gets inside. “USS” is trying to make it a dogfight on the inside and is ripping shots to the arms when gets close. The action picks up later in the round as they fight in a proverbial phone booth, but neither man is able to land anything meaningful. Tabiti is in control of a considerably full fight. 10-9 Tabiti

Round 9

Tabiti circles to his right and rattles out a series of jabs, though they only find Cunningham’s gloves. Tabiti ties his foe up after landing a few jabs and then smiles into the camera. “USS” continues to try and make it a dirty scrap on the inside, but the Las Vegas fighter won’t allow it. Tabiti slams a few more jabs onto the Philadelphian’s face at the end. 10-9 Tabiti

Round 10

Thankfully the final round is upon us. Cunningham clearly needs some sort of miracle knockout here because he is dreadfully behind on the cards. Cunningham remains a little desperate but Tabiti keep him at bay with his jab. When Cunningham backs into the ropes, Andrew rips with a right to the body, and then one to the head. Tabiti drops his gloves in an effort to goad his opponent in and then makes him miss his punches. Tabiti doesn’t counter; rather, he clinches. There is about two seconds of an exchange just before the bell and Tabiti is all smiles. 10-9 Tabiti (99-91 Tabiti).

Nathan Cleverly vs. Badou Jack

Round 1

Tony Weeks is the veteran third man in this fight, a 12-round light heavyweight fight for Cleverly’s WBA title. The fighters don’t touch gloves during the staredown and we are ready. Cleverly comes right at Jack with a series of awkward left jabs, but Badou backs off, keeping a distance. Jack fire a few shots to the body and then an overhand right to the head. A few more jabs to the body from Jack and suddenly Cleverly isn't as aggressive at the moment. Jack goes to the body a few more times, looking to soften up the bulky Welshman. Cleverly fires off a series of jabs up top, but he's countered by a glancing right cross. Cleverly is breathing violently through his mouth, puffing out his cheeks when he exhales. Jack cracks him with two solid overhand rights to the noggin, but Cleverly parries them both. They trade blows to the head late int he round and a right to the face from the champ ends the frame. 10-9 Jack

Round 2

Cleverly comes out hard again, backing Jack up with his jab. Nathan is very active in the first minute as he tosses out that jab repeatedly. Jack backs off, looking to counter and he does, raking a few shots to the gut before landing a right to the head. Jack connects with a straight right to the ear, but the champ shakes it off. A hard left-right to the skull from the challenger, Jack’s best punches thus far. Cleverly continues to throw a ton of punches, but there is no power behind any of them. Its a close round; volume versus power. 10-9 Cleverly

Round 3

Jack is the one who begins the frame hot, digging punches to the body before going upstairs. Cleverly is forced to cover up for a while before he opts to strike back. A nice right-left to the face, followed by a left hook to the ribs from the Swede. A sizzling five-pinch combo from Jack, though Cleverly walks right through it and unfurls a few shots to the head in return. Jack is very active late in the round, going to the body and head but he's not throwing his punches with a ton of power. 10-9 Jack

Round 4

The busy action picks up where it left off as they trade punches in the center of the ring. Still, as busy as they both are, the light heavyweights aren’t throwing with a lot of force. Jack lands a nice left hook to the jaw and then follows it up with a pair of left uppercuts. Cleverly backs away and then has to absorb a pair of hooks to the body. After taking a left to the body, the champ returns with a left hook to the head, but Jack take sit well. Badou snaps his foe’s head back twice with the left jab and then drives his left fist deep into Cleverly’s melon. The Welshman backs into the ropes and jack lets his hands fly. A right uppercut to the head caps off the flurry, by far Jack’s best round. 10-9 Jack

Round 5

Cleverly meets his challenger in the center of the ring, but his dip and dive tactic meets only uppercuts. Cleverly is getting busted up and his face is starting to show it. Jack isn't wasting any punches as he rips the champ to the head and body. Jack backs Cleverly in the rope and lets his hands fly. A volley of punches upstairs and down and Cleverly covers up. Finally, Nathan lands a right to the head, but it does nothing to sway the Swede’s charges. Cleverly keeps bobbing and weaving with his back to the ropes, but Jack is composed and throws punches he needs to. A hard counter right hook buckles Cleverly’s knees and Jack tears into him. Cleverly covers up and just as Jack is starting to land hard blows, Weeks intervenes. Cleverly immediately protests the stoppage, but it stands.

Gervonta Davis vs. Francisco Fonseca

Round 1

Russel Mora is the referee for this 130-pound title fight, though only Fonseca can win the belt because Davis missed weight yesterday. Davis comes out with his gloves dropped. Fonseca tosses out a few jabs, as does Davis. Gervonta is aggressive, digging to the body and then the head. Fonseca is undaunted and answers with a sweeping left hook to the head. The Baltimore fighter slams a few left uppercuts to his foe’s body before getting tied up. Fonseca is visibly slower than Davis, but he continues to plug away, trying to make it a brawl. Davis fires a left hook to the head and then a right-left, but they are mostly blocked. A huge left uppercut from the former champ misses just as the bell sounds. 10-9 Davis

Round 2

After a minor shoe malfunction for Davis, the fight resumes. Fonseca misses a combo upstairs and then is lifted into the air and carried halfway across the ring by Davis. Davis lands a shot to the body and is tied up. Fonseca clinches again; it’s uncertain if he's hurt. Davis misses a right to the dome and has to absorb a right uppercut to the gut, followed by a left upstairs. Davis misses a few shots to the belly and is tied up again. Davis, on separation, swings wildly and misses a monstrous left and right hook. Fonseca counters with a shot to the melon, but it’s partially blocked. 10-9 Davis

Round 3

Fonseca comes out firing early and lands a few shots to the head, though they aren’t clean or powerful. Davis ties him up before backing away. Davis then darts in with a left to the body. Another. A left uppercut on the inside snaps the Cost Rican’s head backs and Davis erupts with a storm of punches to the head and body. Fonseca survives the onslaught and regroups, but he’s coy with his hands momentarily. They trade jabs to the body but Davis is backing his foe up. Fonseca lands a nice right to the chest and then one to the face at the bell. 10-9 Davis

Round 4

Davis is pawing with dozens of little jabs as Fonseca closes in on him as soon as the frame begins. Davis puts both of his hands behind his back ala Roy Jones Jr. and then lands a decent right with it. He continues to clown the Costa Rican with this, even when he is tied up. Davis does a little dance and then is drilled by a shot to the body and then a left to the face. Mora steps in and instructs Davis to stop the Tom Foolery. Davis is now walking toward his foe with his arms down and hopping around. Fonseca opens up with a few punches downstairs and up, but nothing hurts Gervonta. a few body shots for Fonseca close out the round and it’s a close one. 10-9 Fonseca

Round 5

Davis comes right at Fonseca early and blocks several punches coming his way. The Costa Rican digs left hook to the body and then peppers the Baltimore native with a few jabs. Davis misses a wild left uppercut and pays for it by taking two shots to the gut. Gervonta answers with a pair of hooks to the intestines of his own before resting to the center of the ring. Davis goes to the body again before firing a right uppercut inside that just misses its mark. Fonseca swallows a right hook as he comes in right at the bell. 10-9 Davis

Round 6

The 130-pounders miss their jabs and hooks in the first 30 seconds before Davis lands a decent left to the stomach. Fonseca throws out a few long jabs to the body but they fall just short. Davis, meanwhile, counters with a short right upstairs. A nice jab-left to the body from Gervonta and Fonseca backs up. Davis unloads the same combo and then goes to the face with a lead left. The Costa Rican tags Davis with a few rights to the body and then a right to the head before the Baltimore fighter rolls out to his right. 10-9 Davis

Round 7

Fonseca lands a hard right to the head and Davis stumbles into the ropes, but he seemed to be more off-balance than anything. Davis backs away from him as Fonseca gives chase, to able to follow up. Davis remains on his nike and Fonseca finally traps him in the ropes and digs to the head and body. Gervonta blocks most of the offense but doesn’t retaliate. Davis finally opens up late and lands a nice pair of uppercuts but it’s not enough to win the round. 10-9 Fonseca

Round 8

Davis cracks his foe with a nice left to begin the frame and then the two go toe-to-toe. Fonseca is hit by a punch to the back of the head and and is pushed to his knees. Mora, right on cue in missing the blatant foul, deeds to rules it a knockdown and counts Fonseca out.

Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor

Round 1

Robert Byrd is third man in the ring for this, the biggest fight in combat sports history. The stare down isn’t fierce, but Byrd strongly reminds McGregor that this is a fight under boxing rules. They touch gloves and the fight is on. McGregor comes right at Mayweather, who backs into the ropes and blocks the punches. McGregor throws to the body and then lands a slight left to the head. v hasn't punched yet as he feels his foe out. Floyd misses a right to the head and then eats a straight left. Mayweather lands a glancing right to the head and the goes to the body. They trade jabs to the body and then McGregor misses as left up top. Floyd comes in and is tagged by a glancing left uppercut but shakes it off. Mayweather throws only a few punches and it’s definitely a McGregor round.

Round 2

Conor backs Mayweather into a neutral corner and tosses out a few punches but Floyd dodges them. Floyd laces the Irishman with a straight right, but it’s not flush. McGregor is keeping away behind a jab but it’s not finding a home. McGregor switches his stance and launches four tapping lefts, though Floyd blocks them all. Mayweather misses a right the head, but McGregor is not in position to counter. Conor gets inside and throws a flurry of pitter-patter lefts, all of which are blocked. McGregor ties Mayweather up and punches to the head form behind, but Byrd warns him.

Round 3

Conor slowly backs Mayweather into a corner and tosses out a flurry, but nothing lands. When Floyd comes at him and gets inside, the Irishman taps him repeatedly with punches to the gloves and head. Mayweather drills a straight right to the body and then is tied up. McGregor goes to the body with a left and then pops Floyd on the top of the head a few times in the clinch. Mayweather walks into a right jab and smiles before lacing another right to the body. McGregor is very active with his jab, but it’s more of a flicking/waving type of attack. McGregor gets inside and when Floyd ducks down, he’s hit with a short punch to the top of the head.

Round 4

Floyd backs into the ropes as soon as the round begins and McGregor swarms him with shots to the body and head, though almost all are blocked. Mayweather is continuously ducking down low, covering up and allowing McGregor to tie him up. They finally exchange in the center of the ring, both landing decent punches. Mayweather lands a sharp right to the face, but Conor takes it well. Conor is backing away a little as Floyd digs a right to the body and then a short left to the head. McGregor comes with with a pair of sharp jabs, though. Mayweather covers up and takes a few shots to the body but then fires a right to the head. McGregor answers with a left upstairs late. It’s a better round action-wise but again.

Round 5

McGregor uses the jab early and lands a few while Mayweather grins at him. Mayweather is coming forward now, going to the body. Floyd rifles a hard right to the body and Conor backs off. Another. Mayweather laces his foe with a sharp right to the head and continues to stalk the Irishman, who is on his bike a little bit. Floyd stays close to Conor while McGregor tosses out several pitter-pat punches to the gloves. A right to the body, followed by a left hook to the face buckles McGregor’s knees ever so slightly. Floyd goes back to the body and McGregor is slowing down.

Round 6

McGregor comes out with his southpaw jab, but Mayweather parries them. A flurry of punches from “Notorious” and Mayweather covers up. Conor pounces and punches from behind and Byrd warns him. They trade blows but a right but v hurts McGregor. Conor is backing uo and Floyd is on him with shots to the head. A double jab by “Money” backs McGregor up again, but Conor returns to his own jab. Floyd rakes a right to the body and then a left to head before going back to the body. The irishman answers with a left to the face but he’s just out of range for it to do damage. Floyd misses a right to the head and falls into Conor, who tags him with two rabbit punches. Floyd pops his opponent with a right and then ducks under a left-right at the bell.

Round 7

Mayweather comes right at the Irishman to start the frame. Conor lands a sweeping right to the cheek, but Floyd brushes it aside. They tie each other up and when Byrd breaks them, Mayweather takes a swipe at his foe. Byrd warns him. As Conor backs away, Mayweather lands a decent left hook to the face, though it doesn't no real damage. McGregor is starting to tire out and ties the American up again. Floyd nails McGregor with a left-right upstairs and is tied up. A jab from Floyd follows and then a stinging right uppercut to the chin. A three-punch combo from “Money” follows and McGregor backs away. McGregor fires off a left but it misses. “Notorious” clinches again late in the round. Mayweather misses a two-punch combo and is hit from behind during a clinch again. Byrd says nothing.

Round 8

McGregor is gasping for air to start the eighth while Mayweather is breathing calmly. Mayweather stalks his foe down and when he gets close, Conor ties him up. McGregor is on his bike and Floyd tags him with a right. Another right to the grill by “Money” and then another. McGregor swallows a jab and retreats; when Floyd gets close, he’s tied up. Mayweather continues to chase after the Irishman but McGregor is tossing out that swirling jab of his. They trade lefts to the head as they get inside but Floyd nails him with a left uppercut, followed by an overhand right. Mayweather is all over him with lead rights and lefts to the head late.

Round 9

McGregor jumps on Floyd to begin the frame and digs a right to the body. Floyd complains that it’s low and doubles over. Byrd didn’t see it and McGregor pounces. They clinch and Mayweather is hit on the break. When they separate, “Money” tags him with a few rights to the head. A right hook to the head by Floyd knocks McGregor back and then Floyd ties him up. A hard right-left to the head knocks McGregor back again and Floyd is all over over. McGregor is ready to go and Mayweather is looking for the knockout. “Notorious” stumbles away as Mayweather tags him with lefts and rights upstairs. With 40 seconds left, McGregor is in serious trouble. He is gassed out and flailing his punches. Floyd is in Terminator mode as he rips Conor with lefts and rights.

Round 10

Conor meets Floyd in the center of the ring and holds his head while he paws with the left. Floyd doesn’t jump on him to test his condition, though, and allows the Irishman ti tie him up. A left rocks Conoir and then Floyd rocks him with. huge right to the jaw. McGregor is wobbling badly and Mayweather jumps on him with a barrage. A huge right and left to the jaw and McGregor is being help up by the ropes. Byrd jumps in just as Floyd delivers the crushing blow, ending the fight.
