Conor McGregor, Floyd Mayweather Continue Twitter Feud, Tease MMA Rematch
Just when you thought a match between Floyd
Mayweather and Conor
McGregor inside the Octagon was a pipe dream, “Money” teased
the following:
The photoshopped image posted from Mayweather’s Twitter account
features the boxing legend landing a viscous elbow to the head of
McGregor in a mixed martial arts match. The caption reads:
“certified killa vs certified bitch.”
The Irishman didn’t take long to respond:
His image features a real fight of him landing an elbow to the head of Nate Diaz at UFC 202. The caption reads: “A real elbow in a real fight.”
The Irishman is no stranger to Twitter wars with fighters, particularly Mayweather. Most people have written this fight off, although Mayweather did verbally accept to fight McGregor inside the Octagon during the Mayweather vs. McGregor promotional tour for their boxing match.
